Globe Valve
A globe valve is a type of linear motion valve that is widely used to regulate or control the flow of fluids. It gets its name from the globular shape of the valve body. Globe valves are known for their excellent throttling capabilities and precise flow control.
The main components of a globe valve include a valve body, a movable disc (plug or disk), a seat, a stem, and an actuator. The disc or plug is positioned perpendicular to the flow path and is connected to the stem. When the stem is turned, the disc moves up or down, allowing or blocking the flow through the valve.
